@FailOverHero- Not everyone replaces their console for free with MS. Most people lose their receipts or their warranty has been expired. I know a couple of people who has bought over 3 Xbox 360 consoles because it has RROD on them. The fact of the matter is, RROD has helped them a little bit with their sales. Another example would be me, I sold my damaged 360 as "working" on GameStop and bought a new one ;)....twice (thank goodness my elite hasn't died)

Yeah, the NGP is backwards compatible with PSN games you buy. I'll be buying Peace Walker, the Newest God of War, Resistance, Killzone, and Wipeout as well, which are all in the PS store. I am disappointed that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep isn't on the store...maybe they'll add it later? I hope the New Dissidia Duodecim will be on the store.

Shipping is free and no paying tax so I don't see how that's better than going to Gamestop, plus they give you $10, but I guess to each their own. I guess if you can't wait a few days extra for the shipping, then it's understandable.
Xbox is region locked, in fact I believe it's the only one of the next gen consoles/handheld to be region locked as PS3, Wii, PSP and DS aren't, kinda funny. Though, there are 1 or 2games that are not region locked.
Edit: I guess I shouldn't have said Next Gen handhelds, considering 3DS just got released and NGP is coming this fall, but you know what I meant.

No, it's not about a handheld being over $200, it's about the device being worth that price tag. The truth of the matter is, you and I both know the 3DS doesn't cost $250. What does the 3DS have?

You can never have too many gigs, what do you prefer, having a large amount of space available or almost none? You have to understand that a lot of PS3 games have data installation, and my rock band songs (including passing the songs from lego rock band, rock band 1 and rock band 2 to RB3) takes 30gb+
That's the price of the phone without a contract, when you buy a phone with a contract the price gets lowered, usually 50%, so expect this to be at $150-200
Most smart phones nowadays cost like $600 without a contract (and that's a smartphone without playstation features, so imagine)
Too bad the NGP blows the 3DS out of the power in terms of graphics :)

Even if Plasma's are superior than LCD's, you can't deny the fact that LCD's beat plasma's in sales, even if they are more expensive. Hell, I barely see any plasma TV's in stores anymore (read: barely)

Why not? 3DS doesn't have the graphical capabilities of an HD console and people don't seem to mind.
Netflix streaming doesn't work where I live either (Puerto Rico) which is an island too, but for some reason they can ship DVD's WTF oh well
