Breath of the Wild sold 24 million. Horizon sold 8 million.
Breath of the Wild got 97 on Metacritic. Horizon got 89.
Breath of the Wild was recently named number 1 on IGN’s best 100 games of all time.
Horizon didn’t even make the top 100.
It was a good game no doubt.
Got to feel sorry for Guerrilla Games.
Breath of the Wild was released 1 week after Horizon 1 and completely overshadowed it.
Now Elden Ring is releasing 1 week after Horizon 2 and will completely overshadow it.

Switch is winning by a mile. And has been the best-selling console in the last 35 out of 36 months in the US.
So PS5 definitely does not have more interest than it’s competitors if you are going by sales ‘speaking for themselves’.

that sounds fairer on metacritic then, clickbait sites that give good games a 5 or 6 which people complain about on here will hold less weight.
