Yeah that was the best review they have ever done. Haha!
I kind of feel like Rocksteady finishing up with a Batman trilogy might also mean they want a break from the world. The season pass alone makes me think "let's get all we can out of this last game before we move on to a whole new world" as well as "let's get as much money as we can".
In my opinion, Rocksteady will be moving on to a new franchise or even something original after this, and maybe WB Montreal would take on another game.
Basically I hear "It's not gonna happen.....This is 2 for 2 on my games being cancelled.....the teaser was amazing, what we had planned was amazing, but it's not gonna happen"
It is a very bad thing for Konami, obviously. But if Del Toro and Kojima want to work on a horror game together using the Fox engine then please go right ahead.
That was lovely :)
What the hell is going on?! What did Konami do? what did Kojima do? This is quite an annoying loss for this horror fan...
I'm really looking forward to their next project after Arkham Knight. They did an amazing job with Batman, it will be interesting to see what they work on next.
Snap him up, Partick Thistle!
ND seemed up for it last I saw, and the delay could be making room for that as well. It would certainly keep anyone who chose PS4 happy as they wouldn't playing Tomb Raider.
I can see Xbox really pushing Tomb Raider this holiday season, I don't know about more than they would have, but there's certainly a void in the market because Uncharted isn't here yet. What this brings into question though is when Playstation gets its hands on the new Tomb Raider, as Microsoft could use this opportunity to pitch a longer release window to C.D. since Uncharted's delay might put it right in the middle of when Tomb Raider PS4 was scheduled for.
If sales are good then yeah. If reviews stopped sequels getting made I don't think we would be on a fourth, going on fifth, Transformers movie.
I remember reading that Fallout New Vegas devs lost out on major bonuses from Bethesda for the game due to metacritic. But the common point of contention for reviewers was the glitchy game engine created by Bethesda. The should be abandoned and base bonuses on another reward scheme, how about less than 10 updates on a major release :P
When they announced that Keifer Sutherland would be appearing as Big Boss from here on out I knew that David Hayter would eventually return as Solid Snake, might not have been Phantom Pain but eventually.
Not the best comparison, but if David Hayter was kept for both roles it would have sounded like Pewterschmidt and the Doctor in Family Guy having a conversation.
Is this like when the LE Joker statue had a Black Mask hidden in a box under the desk?
Could The Gotham Knight be a peelable sticker?
I wouldn't be surprised if they ended this way, but again Batman dies and Bruce goes about his life.
Reminds of the Mega Drive game where you did a lot of similar things. Will definitely look at getting this :)
Just seen this for £25 in Tesco. Is it worth that price? I have yet to buy it
Can't believe they actually caved and pulled the movie - I wonder what else the hackers had. But I doubt the film's non-release is going to stop them from revealing anymore emails.
I could see them release the movie if more emails get released, but I doubt they'll go the home release any time soon
In other news King has just copyrighted the word Windows, bought a smartphone company created before them and then sued Microsoft.
Yeah Ruin looked brilliant, I was sad to hear it was cancelled.
This is exactly my thinking, Especially this being announced as a launch period game for PS4, and then Blow says they are just adding as many puzzles as they can to the game.
I now feel like The Witness will be a Morpheas launch title rather than released sooner.
