I wonder what kind of socks that author most have smoked but Nier surely dont deserves to be on a list like that cause its really a good game but the rest of the contenders i could agree on.
I think Uncharted was perhaps the best new ip this generation with excellent graphics and a heavenly mix from various genres.
In the sequel i think they threw countless enemies at you so you get the feeling that the game is longer than it is, still a good game though but i prefer the nr 1.
No Uncharted series is not overrated
Well, when you think of it that might be so since some claims that the rrod failrate was about 33 % and if you take out that out of the 50 million consoles sold you get pretty close to 30 million which is the number of unique gametags.
Personally i have 2 xbox360 (one launch and one slim) and i also know that im not alone with just one 360.
Funny but according to vgcharts which is know for upjusting ms number they only have listed kinnect adventures at 5,4 million and last time i checked that is bundled with kinnect.
On the other hand the annoucnement of more kinnect titles is indeed gaming news even though i doubt it would be of intereset to the hardcore gamer.
In the number of exclusives there are no longer a competition between the 2 where Ps3 beats the socks off its counterpart
This franchise would never improve aslong that the developers have a publisher named Activision cause all they care about is your weekly pay.
Since there is alot of fps players on ps3 now i expect that when killzone 3 comes out it will match the sales of cod and if it is indeede better it should frankly sale better, much better
I can understand why some would rate HR as a bad game cause in it you actually have to use your braincells and not endlessly pump bodies full of ammo. HR is a extremely good game and i would welcome more games like this in exchange for mindless fps.
I guess you mean ps3 but do you feel the same way about Polyphony as you do wit square since it took them alot longer time to release a game for the king
Square need to go back to the roots of final fantasy which was turn based and dont rely to much on graphical textures. It would also be best if they had just developed the franchise for 1 plattform and its pointless making thoose for the 360 since in general the 360 owner is not interseted in theese kind of games. So either go to bed with Nintendo or Sony and get the franchise back to what was greatabout them.

Alot of excellebt games on that list but not quite how i would rank em. My list would include. Ratchet & Clank franchise, Rallysport challenge 2, Uncharted 1, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Forza Motorsport 3, Lost Odyssey, Wrc (the evolution games on ps2), PGR3, GT5 and Civ 4
The only way Sony dominates is that their console are the best when it comes to showing of with excellent graphics and for a gamer that part is extremely important.
On the other hand it lays last in terms of units sold and may perhaps surpass the xbox but no way it will surpass the wii even though they try with the wii copycat move

2007: ps3 has no games.. True
2011: 360 has no games... Bull, ever thought of mutiplattform, you know thoose who get made for more than one system
Multiplats and exclusives is alot of games if you solely own a 360. Question: Is it more exclusives or multiplattforms that get made each year?
The same reason why some have just one out of 3 consoles, in the end it boils down to interests

I guess if rdr was a ps3 exclusive then nobody would have had a problem if it won goty.
Sad but true.
Alot of things gaming wise dissapointed me in 2010 and here is a short list:
-Kinnect - i had really high hopes for this but in a little test at the gamestore i opted not to buy this.
-Final Fantasy XIII: if you wanna play a linear game with no towns and with the lack of "just one hour moore" charm than the previous installment have.
-GT5 A overall good game but not as good as it was hyped prior to release, no damage in career...
A gamer should also care about sales cause if the game dont make any profit there is slim chance of a sequel or in the worst scenario the developer could go out of business
Modnation Racing, GT5, God Of War and Heavy Rain are the only exclusives on ps3 that is worth mentioning and im excited for 2011 cause it seems the number of exclusives worth mentioning is atleast going to triple in honourbility.
