Open world games are my favorite genre, but I can see how some people are a bit weary of changing up the formula from the original. Im cautiously optimistic I guess.. actually the thing im more worried about is the art direction lol, from the trailer it had that stupid BF3 dark-blue tint to it. Seriously why is DICE so obsessed with that shit.
Not to mention that most Nintendo exclusives are quality games. Its a big reason why 3rd parties don't like Nintendo consoles, too much competition from Nintendo themselves
Doing what consumers expect them to do isn't a cause for celebration. Let Microsoft shoot themselves in the foot for screwing people over about used games for all I care, but acting like Sony are heroes just because they are continuing a practice that has been around since the dawn of console gaming is ridiculous.

Yea but keep in mind EA has a lot of say in what goes into the game. I dont know, I'm a bit nervous about it to be honest. It took EA so long to finally make a sequel, I think it may stray too far from the original, which was amazing but didn't sell very well according to EA. I hope not though.

Pocky, again, have YOU read the review? Directly after he claimed it was 'violent', he said "The Last of Us' graphics, animation and sound design are some of the best I've ever experienced". He was being sarcastic, and by saying how violent it is, he was praising the graphics/animation etc.
Whatever though, the game has been mostly getting 9s and 10s across the board which is usually a sign of a great game. But don't realistically expect everyone...
Everyone is upset with Polygon for their reivew of TLOU, but did anyone actually read the review? There was nothing 'disgusting' or fanboyish about it. It is.. its pretty much the only gaming site I have bookmarked except for a couple of forums. I never browse IGN/Gamespot/etc unless an article here links to it
I just want it to be very similar to SWBF 1 and 2. Please don't alter the formula or dumb the game down to appeal to all audiences, even though its EA so I am unfortunately expecting that. Also keep the BF3 art director away from it, I don't want that stupid blue tint and super high contrast shadows and lighting.
Also I hope they have John Williams music during gameplay. I'll be very sad if they don't have any music during the actual gameplay.. it seems small...
