They'll annualize it.. but it'll most likely be an 'actual' BF game and a Bad Company game ever other year.. or some other spinoff between actual BF games

It will.. the game will take 2 or 3 yrs to make, and next gen will be well established by then. Its too bad that we didn't get a SWBF game this gen though..
I don't want DICE to ruin SWBF the way they ruined the BF franchise. Well that might be too harsh, but BF has definitely gone downhill since BF2 to cater to a mainstream audience. I would rather EA Los Angeles make SWBF3, since they hired a bunch of ex-Pandemic employees, the people who originally made SWBF.
Commander will be pointless if BF4 goes the BF3 route, with the run-and-gun COD style gameplay. Theres no room for that old BF2 type strategic gameplay there.

I hardly ever hear the word coon, and I'd say most people don't even know that it is a slur. The name of the game was fine IMO, I highly doubt the devs meant it to be offensive in any way. It was kind of a cool name too. But too bad the crybabies at Kotaku had to shame the devs into changing the name.
Actually it was scheduled for just 'spring 2013', and someone at rockstar said the delay pushed it back four months, meaning it was scheduled for May originally
