Why are you guys sad? The beta is guaranteed to be out BY October anyways. This news only means that there is actually a possibility of it coming out before October, which is honestly what I expected anyways.

I'm hoping friendly fire is in the main game mode, and not just the a 'hardcore' mode. Keeps teammates from going rambo with an M60 without worrying about who they are shooting.
The console multiplayer limit is throttled simply because of the bandwidth restrictions that Sony and Microsoft have in place. DICE has said this too many times.
Interestingly, the thing you can actually use this wallpaper for on consoles is on the consoles dashboard/xmb, which runs in 1080p if you have the TV. wow! Guess you didn't think about that.
Doubt you'll have to actually preorder it. They said you had to preorder BC2 to get the limited edition, but I just walked into gamestop on the day it came out and bought the limited edition. I think those were the only copies they had at the moment anyways.
Im actually hoping there are other ways to get in the beta besides MOH because I passed on that crappy game after playing it's beta.

Because its on consoles.. seriously thats pretty much the only reason. BF2MC was originally going to be online only but they delayed it for like a year to make a -crappy- singleplayer for it
