surprised? The player base has probably doubled since the Destiny Beta. Give it another year and a new beta will have the most players.
No because word of mouth and positive views on it will push it on it's own which is what's happening, haven't heard anyone say anything negative about it. Don't always need a massive marketing budget to have a successful game.

you do now but IW back in the day were by far the better cod dev.
They are now but when cod was good Infinity Ward were the go to for CoD, they made the best CoD's by miles with CoD2, CoD4 and MW2. Treyarch however still knows how to make a decent cod but CoD3, Blops 1 and 2 were never very good compared to IW.
Blops 3 however just seems to understand it's a cod game and has slowed the game down which has benefited the game massively and feels more like an older CoD game, which is why i've seen alot of the older cod players say...
Ye they still deliver a day early most of the time but the prices have sky rocketed to the point that they are the same as GAME. Which is not a good thing at all.
Will check Gameseek out and will try SimplyGames as well.
Seems like SimplyGames is the new ShopTo as they used to send games extremely early to the point where you would have them a week before release and would have a decent price.
So many rabid MGS fanboys who haven't even played the game yet... Yes it will be a good game but people saying it's in a different league or miles better than games like Witcher 3, bloodborne and Fallout 4? You people are deluded.
The Witcher 3 is hardly overrated the quality and quantity of the content in the game is second to none. Seems like every one is biased on here at the moment making it out as if MGS is already the best game ever despite people not even playing it yet.
How is MGS on a different level exactly? You fanboys are laughable some days making it out as if MGS is going to be way better than Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3. What are you people smoking? Just because MGS is now in an open world doesn't mean it's innovative or vastly superior to any other game.
At the moment The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, MGS and Fallout 4 will be the ones fighting it out as they will all be good, although my bets on either Fallout 4 or Witcher 3.
Best looking? No. Now best MP game? Yes 100% It was the best MP experience last gen and it's the best this gen easily.
Half the game? Gears 1 is MP... The remaster has been made for the Gears 1 MP fans not for people who wanna play the SP.
The AI? who cares. Gears 1 is basically a MP only game... Anyone who buys this for SP is 100% stupid.
It's not going to change much just because of the art style of the game it can't really change much as it was still a good looking game last gen. But i agree this does seem very very lazy as there is little to no improvement.
why are people disagreeing? Gears remaster is made for the MP people who loved the first one. People who buy it for the SP are not fans of Gears 1. As a MP game it's one of the best ones on console which actually has a skill gap.
Nah Mad Max will do fine, from what i've played of MGS V so far is average tbh, admittedly i'm not far in but so far it's not a 10/10 or a 9/10 experience.
