It's not needed when you can just focus strength and Vigor makes the game easy mode for you.
Yep was watching US twitch streamers moaning and crying about the Dark souls release yet they get every game days before every where else apart from a few exceptions with global releases. Never heard so much crying.
It's been a let down for me most games have been massively disappointing or broken. Only stand outs so far would be Witcher 3, bloodborne and PvsZ GW series.
As a MP gamer I cant help but feel let down with the mediocre MP games we are getting recently, Overwatch hopefully signals a change for that and with Titanfall 2 and BF5 coming it should improve this year.
Fill the MP with content and don't bother with a SP and keep the campaign/story like it was in the first game. Stop catering to the moany bitches who want a SP game and have no interest in the game anyway.
Titanfall got so much hate for not being on PS4. Hopefully being on all platforms now, it will remove the negativity that the game had because it never deserved the crap it was given as the first game is a brilliant FPS game. Lacking in content but still a great shooter for shooter fans.
2 is easily the worst one even Judgement was better MP wise, but SP wise Gears 2 is probably the best one but lets be honest the Gears story is meh and Gears is pretty much a MP game for me.
He's kind of right it's a great looking game but it's a bang average racing game at best.
Gears 4 has a lot to prove for me as I haven't loved a Gears game since the first one however this looks very promising as it's darker and more gritty like the first. For me SP isn't why I buy Gears though (As it's cheesy and full of bad American comedy) as the MP is the main and best part of a gears game for me and if gears 4 is more like 2 and 3 then it just doesn't interest me sadly.
Hopefully the beta will sway me but at the moment nothing has been sho...
thrust jumping is the least of CoD's problems... The cheap kill streaks and equipment is what ruins the game.
it's nothing like Overwatch though, Overwatch is a hero shooter where as Battleborn is a moba.
Being released with overwatch however is the least of it's problems as it feels like a damn free to play game.

Without the people that played gears 1 and kept the community strong there would be no gears 2 or Gears franchise for people to be excited about...
Gears 2 was broken on launch you would know this if you brought it day one, the gameplay was awful as the Lancer became the main weapon which ultimately destroyed the skill cap.
CoD is still a power house, people just like seeing the big games fall. Look at WoW how many times have we heard of a WoW killer or WoW is dying it's still got a massive player base as does CoD. They aren't going anywhere for years yet.

It's not massively influenced by Japanese games, if anything it's much more westernized. I'm with you on the not liking Heavy Japanese games like FF etc but the From software games I give exception too as the themes are much more western focused. I wouldn't say it's like DMC (Hack n slash) but it's not quite hack n slash as it's a bit more refined and slower than something like DMC. I have played every gears game since launch day... Gears 1 is by far the best MP experience of them all. Gears 2 was pathetic any real Gears fan would know this and 3 was let down by the broken/OP sawn off. Looking forward to seeing more for Gears 4 MP but I just cant see it being as good as Gears 1. If it's anything like gears 2 MP then I will pass as that games MP was a massive let down.
Low skill entry? every game has that even CS... Hence why it's extremely popular it's the skill cap that makes it differ but from what I've played of Doom beta no one is any good at it I can drop 40 bombs after 40 bombs easily yet everyone else seems to be struggling at it. If it took no skill surely everyone would be good at it, most people only seem to be able to use the broken Shotgun.
