Simplistic? Hahahahahah SF is complicated as hell. Sure, the moves and some combos are easy to memorize but with timing and frames and yadda yadda yadda....that stuffis deep. Too deep IMO. If you are even decent you are pretttymuch cast out as worthless. Your only hope is finding people worse than you. And for some of us that is too hard to bother trying.
Moneyhatting is a proper term. That's what Sony did with SF and MS with TR. They took money from their hat and used it to get those games, regardless of who asked first. This is funny. Everytime one company has their time(be it someone elses show or their own) to show off some new and upcoming stuff, fanboys on that side get all fatheaded and proclaim their dominance. Then the other one shows off stuff and their side does the same. It's like a SeeSaw of ignorance and petty hubris.

If the PS4 can't run it in 1080p 60fps, then no Xbox One probably couldn't, which is why 30fps will be far more common than 60fps. Both systems can barely handle it on last gen games. Bloodborne is the same. Stick your fingers in your ears and cry all you want...but most action games this gen on both sides will stick with 30fps.
I doubt it'll be 60fps. I think some of you way overestimate the power at hand. I've said it a million times(not here though, this is a first) that this gen 30fps will still be the standard for action games. There is absolutely nothing to complain about though. 30fps is fine and it looks gorgeous.

I'm not a fanboy.....but I am sometimes a bit trollish. This being one very minor example, however I also partly mean it. Events likethis with "big" announcments are always overhyped no matter who it is. SF5 was probably the biggest one(and unfortunately spoiled). Keep telling yourself that, while everyone else with eyes and no bias for SF see a remaster quality bump, rather than a new entry bump in looks. It's OK, though, I know you're all hyped up and have to keep up the delusion that this is some kind of huge upgrade instead of a remaster that'll sell you back everything you bought already last gen but prettier. Some day you'll wise up.

What put me in the position to judge? I played SF4(sucked online, but I unlocked every character) and I have eyes. It's easy to see by looking at the comparison. Yes, there has been a big upgrade to char models and texture(skin and clothes look far bettter), but it's still the exact same art style and char look/style. If they hadn't had SF5 in that trailer it could easily be thought to be a remaster based on that fact. No need to get all pissy, it looks good....just more remaster ...
Goodthing SF5 leaked, or Sony fans would be disappointed after all the hype coming out of this. I was also thinking it would be at least a known franchise game. Ohwell. I think a lot of people are used to hype being extinguished on all fronts this gen.
BTW: This is just my way of saying it looks like SF4 with vastly improved textures and char models....otherwise it looks exactly the same as SF4. The characters builds are exactly the same, bulging muuscles and flinstone feet included. Anyone saying different is full of crap or blind.
They were at HQ going: "This remaster of SF4 is going to be good.....but it needs something more....FUCK IT! Let's call it SF 5, it will sell way more and we can re-sell all that DLC again instead of packing it in a remaster! Fuck yeah, we're smart!".
