As for the UE3, it was designed for Pc-like architecture, it's not all that strange they're having issues porting it to a console that relies a lot less on memory usage and a whole lot more on data crunching.

If I hadn't got tired of shooters two years ago I would've had a X360 instead of a PS3. Seriously, I don't find them funny anymore. They're all the same apart from the weapons. I guess the kids didn't play FPSes before CS, and now all the CS kiddies want to play FPS. If everyone would've been around when Doom hit the PC, I think things would've been different.
No, I'm not saying anything about either console. Just saying that _I_ am tired of FPSes.

I got pretty much all of the movies and trailers. Both Blu-ray and Theatrical. So yes, they're great.
As I see it, it's good that they did predict it. Cause now, the mentioned users can't come and troll here since the predicters would be right then, and that cannot happen!
It doesn't look pretty, at all. Hope that's because it's scans, although.. I don't know what's up with these shots tbh, they should be able to make a better looking game for the next gen consoles. Even if it's a sandbox game ...
Hope the gameplay is shaping up to be good though, didn't really like the last couple of GTA games as much as GTA3 and the one after that.
I very much doubt that, as the game was originally a 360 exclusive, you'd think they started development there. If you can provide your statement with some facts, I'd be excited to read it.
I just can't believe the difference actually is this big. Never before have "we" gotten a good port of a 360 game, and I doubt this will be the case with CoD4 (well, if it's equal on both machines, I'm satisfied). I HAVE to think that this is two very different builds. I'm all in for the PS3, but this is just too good to be true?

yada yada x360 best yada yada. We got it! Stop comparing lousy damn ports already. It's pretty obvious that the 360 is easier to develop for, so I don't see the point in comparing all these lousy ports that are just barely playable on the Ps3

I rather have my PS3 as it is than just being able to play games on it. Isn't that pretty obvious? I can admit that a web browser didn't have to be included, but does a web browser really raise the price of the console? I think not, so why not include it? As with everything else in the box really. You don't HAVE to install Linux on it, but you CAN, and to open up possibilities that doesn't cost anything... Well, why not?

It does actually look a bit bland, worse than previous screens. But then, on the other hand, it is the PC version we're seeing here (shouldn't justify anything, but still, we've only seen console pics before, and they've been better).
