People seem to forget the 3DS came out with really bad sales and they ended up discounting $100. Then had to give the people that paid full pop like 10 free downloadable games or something.
So tired of these articles. They said the same thing about psp, 3DS, ps3 and so on. First year sales on a new console or hand held can be slow sometimes, so what, people buy in when prices drop or their favorite games come out. These stupid articles are just a desperate cry for attention. They will get hits on their site and that's all they are looking for.

So the Oct 9th release date for retro city is real? It's a cross buy game too but I'm playing on my vita. Seems perfect for it. Dishonored is a no brainier.

In fact I traded max Payne for new super Mario 2 and now it's $20 brand new so what does that make a used copy worth.
The trade 2 get it free on PS3 new releases and trade 1 get it free on vita and 3DS games is a crazy good deal. When 3DS XL came out it was trade 5 get it free and the five games I traded were not even worth $80 at game stop. Gotta wonder how long they can keep this up for.
I think a lot of people still think its some kind of wii accessory like the balance board but I'm sure Nintendo isnt worried. They will sell out the first shipment to fans and then everyone else will figure it out ... By then it will be hard to find and make the news as a to find Xmas gift or whatever.
I couldn't get into this game and the style of game is really for a niche market. The developer is popular in the Nintendo world too so I'm not sure that many vita owners will buy into this. Still it plays well and looks cool, just not for me.
DLC is designed to make money and keep people from trading in games while keeping the game relevant for as long as possible. If you can keep people interested for long enough by the time they are done with the game news of the next one is out and you have an almost guaranteed sale.

So true and that game looks amazing. Maybe it was the delay. Hope the December release date does not effect its sales. If its as good as it looks then it should review really well and boost awareness. Can't believe I'm saying it but it might be a sleeper hit for 2012.

I'm on the swimming part of Leon's chapter and it's so stupid. Why! Why! Every time this game gets enjoyable for a second it then disappoints you shortly after to remind you how bad it is.
I want to support kewl limited editions with unique pack ins but this is pretty expensive.

Very true. I think this is why Sony bought up so many developers back in the day to compete with nintendos exclusive. Now both companies have a good selection of first party games and franchises.
This is why as a gamer you should own both. Actually not completely true with exclusive becoming more rare every generation. But in short very well said and agree.

The vita price point was considered fair by most critics and fans so I don't agree. Also the vita had a great launch line up with more games in the launch window. But fast forward to the last couple months and it has been slow agreed.
