Wii u games are $59.99 right now on all the major stores websites.
Nintendo ran into a problem this gen with third party games not being able to run on wii hardware that were made for ps3/Xbox and pc. Now with the wii u that's possible and already we see big games like COD and AC3 coming out. Everyone agrees. Now that Nintendo has their next gen console out in the open and it gives Sony and Micosoft time to relax in a way because they know Wii u will only be getting games from 3rd parties that can run on their current consoles.

I think this is super smart and great for any newbies. Ya I dont think it can come out on Xbox unless they charge the full $60 for it. A lot of collections don't because of the DVD situation and price.

Yes this could be the future of remote play. If u own the disc and a ps3 you can play on any supported device.
Those are only the Sony titles but the only one I see coming out early 2013 is GOW because it has a release date already. Beyond will be spring/summer (like infamous 1 & 2 was) and last of us in the fall for Xmas hype.
Great read. Off topic but when buddy said Underwater caves in far cry 3 and rewarding players for exploration i thought that was really cool. Looking forward to FC3 and GTA5.
The tech needs to be better. Kinect games are horrible but it's a nice first attempt at something that could be really cool one day.
They use to be trusted for reviews. Now they are way to generous to crappy games.
I would love to see a ps4 next year but it won't happen. Look at all the AAA games coming out in 2013 already. You have a ton of games with release dates for early 2013 and then a bunch of games without dates yet like GTA, last of us, beyond, ff versus, last guardian and so on. Can't see them dropping a new console with all those games coming out plus a ps3 price drop.

Garbage.... Might as well rename the kinect dance central cause it's the only good to come out of this mess. My girl friend loves it more than any other game ever made lol ended up just giving her my Xbox so she can play and leave me alone to play ps3/pc. She hasn't touched the wii since.

That's a good deal. We don't have Frys in Canada but I lucked out on an e3 promotion at future shop (owned by best buy) where they gave you any preordered new release for $44.00 if you preordered more than 4 games....So I preordered like 20 games lol. Glad I took a chance on dishonoured.
Not terrible. Made me realize that it's possible for Hollywood to pull of an origin story and maybe not tottaly ruin it.
I'm buying this day one cause I can't not buy a new game console but now that they may be sold out and hard to get I'm thinking about selling it and grabbing it again on the next shipment. Guess my decision will come down to reviews for Mario and Zombie U. How you view this topic depends on the person. Some people get nothing from reading a book, some find movies boring and so on. There are a lot of people who find playing through a story to be the best way for them to appreciate it. Gaming has its place.
Cutting edge is great but I agree it would have been nice to see them bleeding edge. Back in the day when Nintendo came out with a new console it was ahead of its time. But what do I know they sold millions of wii and its not even HD.
