Although sony has made strides towards the FPS genre, its still the core PS3 audience like us who will buy KZ and R3. I dont see many people going out and buying a ps3 just for those games. Its unfortunate but i think COD has taken the reigns has the "premiere" fps of this generation. I hope its climax is Black Ops because i cant stand the amount of press this franchise gets. There are much better shooters then COD.
Microsoft is giving up on nothing, this is great news if you are a stock holder of theirs. There sales are going up and the brand is gaining more recognition with the Casual market.
All of this aside, we are gamers here, and i couldnt give a flying f#cK about sales, or how well M$ is doing. I only care about the games that we would play and for that reason this is bad news for 360 owners.
Gamefaqs is full of pro xbox and wii users. If you have ever seen their daily polls. Stuff like "What console do you play the most" PS3 out of 5 options is behind 360 and wii.
Ok anyone who plays GT5 or any racing sim with the intention of getting good at driving is just fooling themselves. Take these "games" for what they are games.
For people who still have the game, i have been playing for the last 5 hours post-patch and most of the issues have been fixed. HOWEVER, host migration happens way more often. Also, it appears that they have tweaked some gameplay mechanics as well.
I can predict GOTY for GT is going to be blackops. *sigh*

While this may seem cool, having a cell processor has no impacts on picture quality which is one of the most important aspects of a tv. What this means is the tv will be able to do more because it has a lot of processing power but that's it.

I disagree, i think its a great design, but the price is unacceptable for a cheap piece of plastic manufactured in china for pennies, there is too much of a mark up.

If they somehow are able to emulate what they did with Resistance 1, this game will be the best of the series.
The reason MGS4 cost so much was the money and effort they put into the engine (also the 200+ staff at KP) Its unfortunate to think that the MGS4 engine which is an amazing engine hasn't been used by any other games, what a waste of technology.
I think its fashionable for people to disregard the wii as a "gaming" console but it had a few really solid "hardcore" games.

I still enjoy the game online, it has more to do with the fact my friends play it and not the game itself. A game is just more fun when you are playing with friends.
