I think for a certain level of story telling he would need voice and to convey complicated emotion. As long as they keep things basically exactly as they are there is no need for voice. However if they did add voice and do it well it could open up whole new levels for storytelling in Hyrule.
I really wish this had been a real action platformer and not a fighting game. Not my genre of choice so I passed on this game. I enjoyed the original game.
I have plans to buy this eventually but my bag log is so huge why bother atm. Either way I despise piracy but understand it.

I bought this game and went to a friend's house for the weekend and we played it. The combat was just not for me. We ended up bored even though the story was good we never played it much. Too used to the old turn based FFs.

Really iffy about the idea of tacked on Air ship battles. Though so far I am for many of the changes they have made to make this game what it is so far so I am open minded.
Would rather see an HD update for 6 or 8 or 9. As a fan from the start of the series XII was a huge disappointment(mostly character and story wise).
I did like the battle system improvements and the amazing world exploration. They could do an HD remake and fix all the story and character mistakes they made.
Remove Vaan from the game and go back to the original story line before they changed it to give it more child appeal.

I am not anti this but if they make the controller a touch screen with not thumbs or buttons then I will pass.
Best game of the year by far. Also most of the bugs and roach stuff were comical and did not take away from the games enjoyment. If it was a but that made it unplayable then it would have been a different story.

I always feel disappointed with the stories in Ys games. I want to enjoy the series as I like the combat system and exploration. The introduction of online always seems to cheapen the storytelling. (Most recently Xenoblade Chronicles X. Should have been Called Xenoblade Online imo)
Here is hoping they can give a bit more interesting narrative in VII.

True backwards compatibility is a great feature. When the PS3 came out and could play PS2 games I was happy enjoying my back log when there was a lack of titles for the system. In any early console life cycle I think it can really breath life into a system. Since most consoles have simply become PCs in sleek designed boxes so its really a software issue to create compatibility in future generations anyway.
