thanks for all the narrow crawl spaces ps4
played this at TGS and the gameplay is so mediocre. everything felt unresponsive and combat was just mashing R2
the varied enemies, locales, and boss fights already make this game way better than the 2018 reboot for me
yeah, i noticed literally everything is copied. the target reticle, the sounds of item dropping and pickups, the UI, the HUD. but to me these are all good things. be as fromsoftware as possible. i'm a huge fan of theirs but soulslikes just dont do it for me as i have yet to play one that i've enjoyed.
i love how unapologetically bloodborne it is. more bloodborne is always a good thing
looks way more bloodborne to me
maybe a slight exaggeration but it doesn't even matter. the point is the souls games are infinitely more replayable. they are short and sweet and fun to replay. elden ring's best feature is exploring the open world but once you've already discovered everything, subsequent playthroughs are just traversing huge space without surprises so it's boring in comparison. before the update, you even had to go back and get all the upgrade bells which was a huge chore in itself.
wow my top 3 games didn't even make the list... ? 1. returnal 2. demons souls 3. ghost of tsushima
well that's his point. you only finished it 3 times. i've replayed the souls games hundreds of times even after platinuming them. as great as elden ring was during the first few playthroughs, it just doesn't draw me back to it compared to the other souls games.
Premium? Nah, it's not for me. I'm not interested in playing older games. I'm definitely signing up for Extra though. They've only listed a fraction of the offered titles and it's already super impressive.
ok, add it to the list of games that i'll never play.
I am definitely looking forward to trying it out.
Gamepass is wildly overrated. $180 a year to rent a bunch of indie games and a handful of average first party titles is ridiculous. I don't get why people overhype it. The playstation plus middle tier is already looking way more enticing to me and they've only teased a few of the titles that will become available.
wow so disappointing. was really looking forward to this game until i saw this. cool concept though. please hire fromsoftware to develop it.
This game hardly needs a remake. Just a patch to unlock frames. How about MGS1 instead?

It is not recognized as a holiday in Japan. They just simply know it exists but has no meaning whatsoever to them.
Everyone I know in Japan, including myself, had to work on Christmas day. Most people don't start their winter holiday until the 28th unless you work for a foreign company.
Kojima working was not a sacrifice. It is the norm.
What's the pricing going to be like? The collection can be found used as cheap as $20 sometimes. I don't see why anyone wouldn't just get that instead.
Absolutely agree.
The series has been pretty terrible since FFX-2. FFXV looks to be no different. Even having low expectations, I played it at this year's TGS and somehow want the game even less. Sad, because they were pumping out classics and seemed like they could do no wrong.
hopefully this means they will make a game that is fun to play. gameplay has always been the worst part of kojima games.
