6 times the detail and lossless audio, the equipment to view and hear this amazing quality is becoming more affordable every day. If you have paid good money for that 50" TV, then pay a bit more and get a PS3.
Upconvertion does a fantastic job incomparison to viewing a normal DVD, but the difference between upconversion and Blu-Ray is a much bigger leap than the latter. It looks flawless.
