Just came off a 3 hour table tennis marathon, I'll sure as hell start losing some waistline if I keep this up. It's really good fun, and deserves the praise it is receiving.
It's alot of fun guys, simple games so far but some from sports Challenge are like crack. Just one more go I keep saying....
It is uncanny the way you feel like you are genuinely top spinning or slicing the ball in table tennis, the accuracy of the angle's and distance is spooky.
The wii could only pray for the graphical and accuracy
improvements the new ps3 move combo brings to the
table. I guarantee you will smile when you first hold that big bouncy...
The big test will be when I drop a log in front of Kinect, will it:
a) Crack the pan before I do.
b) 1:1 pan cracking
c) A delay of 200ms before cracking the pan
d) Does not detect the turd at all
From what I have seen it could go either way.

I know what you mean, I played through first 30% when released and due to a few circumstances did not return to the game until yesterday evening.....
I played the game till 3:30am and finished it. Absolutely loved it, this time I could not put the controller down until I completed the game.

I have the 60GB launch unit, it YLOD'ed a few months back. I don't wish to make a song and dance about it, but people should accept that a problem exists and not act like what many Xbox owners did when Rrod started out.
Remember we are consumers, I hope it is not wide spread, but I sure as hell would'nt of minded an extended warranty offer from Sony. I personally did not want to pay AU$315 and tried to reflow the motherboard, it worked for a week, got intermittent, then completeley ki...
PS3 will be slimmer, sexier and will have integrated Dual HD Tuners for the PAL regions. It will be purchased, and enjoyed by many.

Tried and failed unfortunately. Could be PSU, it is really tricky to work out if I gave the M/B enough welly with the heat gun! Not sure I'm prepared to take apart again, but good luck anyone who tries.
PS3 is clearly going to be the most expensive console to own.
The sheer number of incoming high quality games is making it so.

Maybe I should not of jumped straight into multiplayer, but I struggled with the controls really badly....movement of the thumbs does not seem to translate fluently and quickly on to the screen.
Normally ok with ps3 shooters, but I need to adjust somewhat.
