Christ. Compression or not. 1 gig of audio is at most 1000 minutes of acceptable quality. Music / Ambiance will take up some of that and the rest you have sound effects and all that garbage. 1 gig of audio is 100 minutes when the file is compressed to where a minute accounts to a Meg (a standard mp3). Low Compression high quality you can end up with a 3 minute song that well over 12 Megs.

Honestly? Even though the list is big... it has nothing. It has the BIG titles but nothing spectacular, in my opinion. Nothing that makes me go wow. I'm not hating PS3. It's just that to enjoy those games you have to be in the mood.
I might just want to see Mahjong Taikai IV. Everything else is bland in my opinion. They're great titles, but they aren't for the every gamer. You have to be in love with it or follow it to be super excited to try it. I am not.

Nintendo said they will release some information in Leipzig. Nintendo have also said they will release price/release and everything else (info wise) in September.
People hoped Nintendo would say something, but it wasn’t expected so no one should be really disappointed. :D

But what ever. You think size of the game means gameplay? You're giving resistance so much... praise. The game isn't out. The size just means it will look nice. Just that. PS3 is to output at a high resolution.

Also, if audio it self only takes up 1 gig then there isn't much of the story. You have 1 gig in many games short games. But the game isn’t compressed. It’s pretty much raw data.

DS can handle both 3d (minimally) and 2d. 2d games on the DS are great as are some of the 3d ones.
But on the GCN or even PS2 (with contra) Y'know? Releasing a straight forward 2d game on a system where people expect graphics. Well, it'd be disappointing. You'll always have the DS for 2d adventure games, but on consoles, they (we “gamers”) always want more.

Yeah but then again final fantasy seven (game) can look like advent children. Battle Scenes. Walking through the maps. I mean it doesn't take a lot to make a map look shiny and cartoony and for the characters to look well toned and colourful. There isn’t much to it.
Only thing that made Advent Children were the battles. Environments were plain. If Heavenly Sword can provide fast paced, stylized battles like the ones seen in advent children then yes, wow, but if it can't... go ...
It's all about taste.
The first Zelda title for the 64 has been labeled as the best Zelda game of all time. 3d has its touches and it is cool and all, but 3d adds detail 2d can't. And devs/creators want to see more of what they've envisioned than just a top view of the environment.

Advent Children wasn't that great visually. It had the battle scenes that made it worth the watch, but visually it wasn't great.
I mean it was nice but it's 2005. The source engine is capable to giving you current Pixar graphics. Source engine is crap tho for online plat. If a said PS3 game is to look like a dated CGI movie... then I dunno. It's good that you have something to compare it with, but come on. The first FF movie looked a whole lot better than FF7.

The PSP tripe was just hilarious. Nintendo is king of the handheld market. I don't care how you look at the figures. Nintendo is on top. PSP stopped selling and DS is still selling. PSP is now a free prize to entice customers at expensive phones, furniture, home sales, bank account transfers etc. I don't care though. Gamers buy what they want to play.
