Because PC isn't only for gaming. Games are a bonus. If PC was only for games you'd have new control schemes and new control pads. If PC was only for games it’d be the Xbox and the Playstation.
Also, you can't go anywhere from mouse and keyboard combo. So PC gaming has died ages ago. You can't improve upon it. You can add graphics and features but it will still use the same control methods.
It evolved from up arrow left arrow etc to wasd. And that was a big step....

Wouldn’t you get angry that you lost the race because you lost your chance at your unique bonus? The game has item boxes. The game has ghosts. It would just get bothersome getting a box then tossing the special item you got just so you can use your special ability. It’s cool probably for bonus stages, but not racing/battle. The idea of battle is to get item boxes and battle....

The PSP will act as a remote controller :D You can control your PS3 from anywhere in the world with it's wi-fi feature. So you can pretty much play any ps3 game when you're not at home. Of course you won't see anything. You'll have a nice display of your scores on the psp but nothing else.

And what makes you think that the PS3 isn't 'rished'? Because it's out later than the 360? That just proves Sony wasn't even ready then. They've made promises in e305 and in e306 their promises have changed dramatically. PS3 still packed a punch but in 06 it was nothing like it was said to be back in 05.
I think Sony is rushing to release the console for the xmas rush of this year. PS3 should’ve been out last year.
1) Don’t you need a TV that supports HDMI?
2) Don’t you need an ISP that supports a gigabit? Just because you have it doesn't mean you can use it. ISP's cap their speeds. Gigabit Ethernet port just adds to the bill. 360s 100mbit is good enough for today’s market.

Now how about game play? Graphics don't equal game play. Well, if you're a Sony fan boy and haven't touched a ps3 title yet then yes... 22 gigs of crap on a BD means the game will be fantastic? Come on! PS3 is to play games at a high resolution with high textures and all that marketing garbage. 22 gigs is nothing if the game is crap.
X360 games are small and they are fun/attractive and enjoyable. PS3 games will be attractiv...
