I've been trying hard to get into the whole Gothic franchise. But I simply can't play more than 10 minutes without someway of enhancing my character. Giving him faster walking speed, stronger combat techniques, and then after that I get bored. :( I hope gothic 3 will keep me entertained for a long while.

I know what you mean. It's just that PS3 will be the must have purchased gift for this Christmas. Like x360 was last year. Parents will buy it for their children and such. A few gamers will buy it just to gloat.

I don't think sales for X360 will increase. Game sales might increase as a lot of great titles are on their way. Might entice some non x360 gamers to go out and buy x360 just to play some new exciting titles. But there won’t be much of them.
PS3 will go nose to nose with the Wii in console sales. X360 will dominate game sales this year.

Marketing is lying. They’re selling a blu-ray player and they want people to buy it. If they were to tell you that there are only few titles available for the format, you wouldn’t want to spend over 600$ on the player. They have to spread a few white lies to the public in order to give the product some leeway.
But does it eally matter? It’s marketing. They want you to want the console. There’s nothing wrong with that. They want the console to be put out there and for people to see a reason to buy it.

I can only imagine once scenario where the wiimote could come in handy. And that's balancing on poles and such. The POP could be played well with the wiimote. It has enough buttons. Jump/Attack/Action/Secondary attack/etc. More than enough buttons. You can use the nunchuck for walking. Of course the game would need a fixed camera angle like the one presented in Mario Galaxies.
I just hope the game is playable and enjoyable on the wii.
Actually we do need hardcore news from both sides. It’s just that there aren’t many news articles being published on a daily basis. So, we get people who visit ps3/x360 gaming sites posting the articles they admire. It gives us a nice perspective on the way buzz from each consoles is being received nationwide/worldwide. And you can’t ignore that.
