I agree. For the Wii U, the controller is a pivotal way of playing the game. For SmartGlass, it's about convenience and integration.
It's their best bet, mainly because the wii u controllers are still up in the air. LCD touchscreen controllers have to be pricey. As their fix to that niche for now, gimmicky as it is, they've got to address it.
It does have potential, although, if they can smooth it out.
Looked great.
Game controllers on mobile devices? Hopefully this means we'll get some worthy mobile games xD
Wasn't a fan after Juno, but she wowed me in Inception.
I'm a fan, and the game looks interesting. Just wished they gave some more info, or some actual gameplay.
Halo was planned as a trilogy as well... but now they are coming with the second trilogy starting with Halo 4
Watch_dogs took us from left field. I thought Far Cry 3 was beautiful as well, and AC3 was so fluid, but The Last of Us looked amazing - very hard to tell.
That was a prequel, Gears of War Judgement.
As expensive as it was, it better have them! Shame it took them so long for this. Really enjoying this enjoy though
Ubisoft fared better than all presentations in my opinion
Huge fan of the series but Microsoft needs new exclusive IP's and leave some time for these series to restore some prestige.
Best e3 showing - Ubisoft, by far.
Even as someone who owns only an xbox so far, I'm looking forward to this game.
Yeah, it did look very much like Gears. And I'm not a fan of the direction these games are taking, Dead Space and Resident Evil. There is a market for survival horror, and yet these games are leaning more toward action fps.
Yes, exactly. I noticed the same thing. Hopefully we'll see some new IPs emerge next generation!
Yeah. And very nice survival elements. His health bar stayed the same when he took damage (none of this health regen that has plagued modern games), and he had maybe 5 bullets in all of gameplay.
This is great
Exclusive means everything. Xbox will continue to get 3rd party developers handling their gaming needs while they focus on social media tools. All we see from microsoft is Gears and Halo, and they fill their time slot with 3rd parties. It's a shame, really.
They were both awful, but I'll vote Sony any day when they close their show with an exclusive. Microsoft closed with CoD BO2...
Those Wonderbook hiccups were a momentum killer =\ absolutely the worst part of the presentation
That Zombiu game looked to defy traditional nintendo games. Suddenly, there is hope! But once again, that game is coming from a 3rd party. Guess we'll have to wait for tomorrow.
