There is a place in gamers' hearts for survival horror. And we would further know this if RE6 and DS3 stuck to it. Instead, they overloaded with action and I'm glad to see where they are now.

Cliffy B justifies micro transactions and day one dlc's by saying that it's needed to keep the game "fresh" to avoid the buying/selling of used games. Total bullshit. Minecraft is making PC sales history because of it's everlong series of free updates. We need it to replace whatever the current norm is.

A steady stream of new content is awesome. But let's let Minecraft & Terraria(to name a few) lead the industry. All new content invokes more sales, and is entirely free. Minecraft is topping PC sales all time with this methodology. They'll never charge a cent for their updates.

All of the criticism was about how the series drifted away from horror and became an action game, especially with the 6th and 7th. So yeah, if you didn't enjoy the horror of the first few, and somehow thought it was boring, you should have never listened regardless.
