Now; about your points (they are all good):
Unit group movement is intentionally different (as far as I can tell) since unit HP is much less than W3 units, and therefore micro is much more important. You cant just depend on group pathing to bring the melee forward and ranged back since conflicts are resolved with group positioning more than unit positioning.
Shared unit control is broken in...
Single player is hardly difficult, and the reason they ban it is because of achievements. I don't want my achievements (without 'trainers') compared to your achievements (with 'trainers'). Disconnect from battle.net, play offline single-player and you would never be banned.
