Im not Socom fan but i like to check every game just to see how they look and i have to say i wasn't that much impressed. But than again Socom was never graphic showcase, it is more about gameplay, wright?
Only thing that worries me a bit is that Ninja Theory doesn't have good pedigree. I think they only made two games before this one and both were crap. I really hope this one will be a lot different.

Even if that was the case(and it is not)why would Sony want do that when they can just replace folks that didn't do proper job as they did few months ago?! If i am not mistaken 2 guys were removed from WarHawk project and than occurred all those changes on WarHawk, like becoming only online game.
I think Sony made this move for the future not because of the Vanguard. Sony compared to Xbox is weak on Online gaming experience so they are looking into future and are trying to gain some strength.

Folks this is inevitable for now. Wii is selling so well in Japan unlike PS3 so there should be no question marks about this "announcment". Developers want money, they are not "fanboys" so the only thing that matters is money, which is normal reaction.

Just look at PS2, its going to "live" for at least 2 or 3 more years. Graphics don't make a great game. Just compare Genji for PS3(one of the best looking games out there) and for example God Of War 2 or 1 with it. Of course Genji looks better but it sucks ass compared to how good GOW games ar.e
Sony is living on PS2 and PSP sales(software and hardware). It will take at least 2 years for PS3 to cathc up on 360. Looking at 360 line up from now until the end of year i have to say it's really impressive and for Sony to counter it....it will be hard. Even MGS4 got delayed so what can beat Halo 3?
I agree, it's logical thing to happened. Also i see Wii to be winner of this gen. Wii is getting more and more support from developers and as it continues to sell and when it drops price even more, it will be almost impossible to cathc it.
But i see this "race" more as race between 360 and PS3. Wii with it's previous gen specifications is in totaly another league so it's unrealistic to compare them.

BORING! Yes Japanese will ALWAYS choose Wii and DS over PS3/PSP/360. They love this kiddy, retarded games(no offense). Also many forget that Wii has awful attach rate, mainly because it's so easy to "mod" that system. DS is something i will never understand, it's so outdated and pathetic that its just slowing down the advancement of the industry.
