Already been proven that the PS3 is the one that is actually popular with the young crowd. Also explains the poor software sales as most dont have jobs and parents wont pay for 60.00 games.
MS learned to sale faulty consoles by watching Sony last gen. The PS2 was just as faulty only Sony made consumers pay for their own repairs. MS at least covers the cost.

Hey kids, I dont own nor will I ever own a MS console. I however am I real gamer so I read the news. Maybe you missed it or just will not admit it but a company released results a few months back showing PS3 ate up a lot more electricity than the 360 or Wii.

Oh you mean the blur they showed off that ads realism to the game? Like in the scope part where the objects in center are focused but those to the side were blurry? That's actually part of the game. Its called realism. If I was looking down a scope focusing on one target, the other targets that I am not centered on would be blurry and out of focus.
Invalid point. Anyone can afford a PS3. Not everyone could buy a Porsche. I am amused that people even thought this was a valid point.. Who really compares 200.00 and 400.00 products to 20k and 80k products and actually thinks they have a valid point? Ps3 isnt cheaper.. It burns hundreds of dollars of electricity a year. More so than any other console. The 50.00 cost of Live is more than made up for by the savings on your electric bill. There ar more examples of why it costs more but it is pointless. Anyone with an IQ over 50 can see it isnt cheaper, The only people foolish enough to believe this already bought a PS3 so it will not change anything.

YOu totally missed the point. Also your personal buying preference changing nothing. PS3 fans do not support the PS3 and one look at NPD proves it. No I have good things to say about them all. Just do not like Sony fans because they are the biggest part of whats wrong with the PS3. For all their talk they do little to support it beyond buying it. It wouldnt matter what the name of the company was that people were saying it about. I would correct them. If it was the Sega Wii, and people were calling it the start of casual gaming, I would also correct them in that case. I don't hold any loyalty to any company, just the truth.

Brief history lesson for you since it is your first gen of gaming. PS1 and PS2 were very much like the Wii. Underpowered to the point of holding back gaming and filled with tons of crap. Sony started the casual movement, they just forgot that this gen. They like Nintendo before them thought their most vocal fans would carry them to number one.
