Sony cant even afford a price cut no matter how bad they see they need one. Most of their holiday games flopped, poor game sales throuout the year and already spent every penny made off of the PS2 on PS3 development.. Where would the money for a price cut come from?
I think someone needs to look up the definition of estimate. I have a strong feeling that if PS3 wasnt in last place on that chart that you guys wouldnt have issues with Vgchartz numbers. Oh I see what you did there. You are confusing shipped numbers with sold numbers. They shipped 1 million last year that doesnt mean 1 million sold to PS3 owners just yet. NPD doesnt track shipped numbers either and that is where VGchartz gets most of its information from. When NPD is released they will change their numbers to reflect it, but they will not be updated to include the number of copies shipped to retailers.

Thing is it is the exact same game, so which one would you pick up? I'm getting the DS version over the Wii version because I'll be able to play it anywhere.
Just seems like a dumb move on their part. There is not one reason for anyone to pick this version up over the DS version. Game was built for the DS after all not the Wii. DS version can be picked up and played at any location you have your DS, unlike the Wii which has to sit at home and Japan is a portable market.
Poor Capcom. They wrongly listened to fanboys and not gamers. This is a much better year for Wii though. I'd like to add Tenchu to the list of games out this year worth getting.
He has a point though. Imagine what consoles would cost next gen if consumers had made the PS3 number one this gen. Who knows though. Sony may try again but I doubt so many jump on board day one next time if they do.
Nintendo is just holding back supplies. Nintendo lowers their sales forecast and a few weeks later their sales start dropping. Now isnt it the other way around usually when demand dies? They're either holding back for the new fiscal year or they've cot production in favor of more DSi for Japan.
I dont think you will find my post to contain anything claiming there are no such things as Nintendo fanboys or xbox fanboys. You will however have to not be a fanboy to see that N4G is infested with Sony fanboys and 99% of the time if someone is crying about another console it's the fans of the one in last place. Sony fanboys cry the most, 360 fanboys cry sometimes, Nintendo fanboys are usually very silent and don't say much because their console is the one winning atm.
