Well if early reports are anything to go by..

Sorry Ninji the PS3 version of the game is the number 1 most pre-ordered game in Europe pretty much across every single major retailer. Whilst GOW3 is usually number 5 or below.
FF is just a bigger seller. But either way the PS3 is the IT console which everyone will get and should get in 2010.
Games like 3d dot heroes flop with 10k lifetime sales and will never ever be praised on the other hand no matter the console its on ahahah :P

Played my import copy (which was freaking epic) the game has two vocal themes. They only play once each in the game and last for a total of like 6 mins all together (one of the themes is cut short).
6mins for a 40-50hour game is tolerable haha.
On the last disc they should have no problem fitting the majority of the game data if they go the same route as the PS1 FF's.
The last disc will probably just have the final boss and the location and the final cutscene, the rest will all be the game data chucked in.
With all FF games only around 75% of the locations are accessible at the end (because of the story). Some places can't be explored again because it's in an enemy locations and some places are destroye...
3 discs isn't the final amount.
The words from Kitases mouth were.

It will either be 4 or 5 depending on how far compression takes them.

Many of the reviews are written by people who hate the series for no reason or opposing console owners. Also many are reviewing the actual site and not the game itself..... It's just like the bull*** you get on metacritic or any other website where they give users the chance to review.

The PS3's hardware numbers aren't near enough to the PS2's when FFX launched.
No point shipping more when theres not enough people to buy.
However after XIII the floodgates shall open. In January alone theres 4 RPG's (EoE, SO4, Ar Tonelico 3 and Last Rebellion)
Then Yakuza 4, GT5 and more game announcements!

No one in Japan gives a crap about western games so for all Japanese PS3 gamers this will be the best looking game they have seen.
Same for Western gamers, Uncharted 2 has only sold 1million worldwide.... FFXIII will sell way more since it's a much bigger game. Uncharted 2 is only big on the internetz.

Yeah I was about to say... LO looked great in some places but the majority of those screens have been handpicked to make it look better then it actually is, and the opposite has been done for the FFXIII screens.
I will never forget outrage from my 360 friends when the game didn't actually look as good as the screens haha.
Well if you just pretend XII isn't an FF game like me then XIII is the highest scoring FF game.
