Agree, except Dead Space is STILL an action game with horror elements! Try Amnesia if you want horror, but that's on PC. It's a HUGE turn-off that developers have stopped experimenting with slow-down, puzzles, and the build-up of tension that leads to suspense, as well as Camera Angles, this Generation!
Why have we received no survival horror games this generation? Seriously. I bought a PS3 just to enjoy them. It's not like PC is very viable for camera angles. :/ I enjoy the cinematic approach! Even our Silent Hill 2-3 port was lousy.
I relate much better to a protagonist with human weaknesses than a badass with six bazookas up his sleeves and necking.
