It's not that out of line to refer to the original game when reviewing a squeal, and that goes for movies, music albums, etc.
Why are you watching reviews for a squeal to a game you haven't even finished any ways?
It better be! They have had enough time to fix it, that's for sure.
I think it is a good game, but I also think that it is overrated will all the 9/10 it gets. I would give it an 7/10. I preferred DeathSpank over Joe Danger (which has a lower score on MetaCritic), but that is just my taste i guess.
They really should have made this for the PS3 and not the PSP... sales are going to be horrible. Any how, I loved the first one so will probably pickup this one as well. I really wish they had software based PSP emulation for PS3.

I’m wonder how much of the sales spike that both the 360 and the PS3 saw when they release their slim revisions were related to people finally picking an old model up on the cheap. Especially 360 Arcades when they were going for $150.
I think most people assume that sales boost are people going out buying a new one, but I think a good percentage our actually buy the old models at a discount.

The parents can only be mad at them selves if they buy this game for their kid. It's not like the kid can buy it since it's and Over 18 game... Right?

Nice article. I usually try to limit my self to a couple games at a time(with different generes) so I can switch back and forth, so I game doesn't get too stale. I find any more than two though spreads my free time a little to thin and its hard to finish all of them. This happen to me when I bought RDR, SMG2, and ModNation Racers all within a week. I have only finished RDR, sold ModNation and am having trouble getting back into SMG2.
I agree, the only exclusives that are dying are 360 and PC. Don't get me wrong I love PC gaming and wish Battlefield 3 was a PC exclusive, but you can't blame the developer, this is a business after all and the overall goal is to make profit and get a pay check.
Me and a lot of other people already have the PS Eye (its been out for years). They need to come up with a bundle with just the move controller and a game. Or two move controllers and a game, that would be perfect!

I'm really tempted to pick up FF13 $30. I rented it from gamefly and didn't really like it, but with the game dough for the past month and the good price I'm sitting on the fence about this game again.
I'm with you. I have also never owned a racing wheel, and am wondering what I am missing. Is it really worth $300, that seems awful expensive. It cost as much as a new PS3!! Is there any cheaper ones that someone can recommend? I don't think I can talk my wife into letting me spend $300 on driving wheel for video games :(
