What, did they actually expect a thrilling, well thought-out and lengthy storyline from a COD game?

This is EA. It's what it does.
It's normal for that to happen in the UK. The only time I didn't get it the day before or on the day of release was when I ordered GTA4 from GAME. Needless to say I haven't and won't be buying from them ever again.
Here's hoping the PC version will be fully optimised.
At £6 a go it's a bit expensive. Especially when you can get most of the info on the internet and more.

This is why I always watch or read community reviews. Reviews done by normal people not working for high up websites. Their always more accurate and give a better description for what the game is like.
My local Tesco has them advertised for pre-order now. Still seems a bit early.

I've been saying that since 2008. All people care about these days, especially with the PS3/360 games is SP. Because of that SP has to suffer badly. That and devs dont have the time or care to fix bugs and glitches.
Skyrim is the latest game I like that doesn't have MP and is fun to play. That and when my internet is down I still have decent games to play too.

EA have yet to deliver game wise. Their last decent FPS was BF2.
Everything since then has been below par.
It's the point of principle. If one religion is to be respected then they all should. Supporting one over the other is technically racist too.
That and IW never listen to anyone and now their ^&*( themselves incase people take to the street and don't buy the annual COD and activision might have to start investing in actual story lines and substance in their games instead of modding last years game.
Doom 3 is/was a good game. Certainly when it came out. It's the only game to have scared the shit out of me too.
Just a shame these days all the gaming industry cares about is money. Now Doom is going to get a bad rep because of this. Should be £9.99 tbh.

Honestly, the west doens't see Islam or Muslims as terrorists. Most of the west just views the Middle East as a bit mental at times. Especially when it comes to frivilus things like this.

For god's sake...
1. I doubt the level designer who put it there knew about it being offensive before hand. To him it was just a random picture being put somewhere in the game.
2. Other religions get insulted far and away more than Islam.
3. Quit nit picking. You'd think he'd be more pissed at the fact the story line of MW2 is about killing fictional Muslim terrorists than a virtual picture above a virtual toilet.
Yeah but they just rushed this in the Vita for a cheap (quality wise) mobile COD experiance. That and to get it out along with BO2 for maximun profits. Just in time for Christmas too.
That and most people will be online for the most part.
Or so Activision thinks. It doesn't care. It just wants more milk from the same old cash cow since 2003.
