There is no reason at all for it being over £400. The kinect must be like £15 max to make, same with the controller and the console itself must be sub £200.
Just greed because Sony sold the PS3 at such a high price. You have no reason or need for the high price MS.

The thing is with steam is that it has great sales and deals and has AN OFFLINE MODE.

There are sevel problems with digital games on consoles.
1. How do I back my games up? If and when I run out of space or my HDD breaks or gets corrupted?
2. Like the last point above, the HDD could break and you lose all your games.
3. Now everyone has the speed, bandwidth and time to download 30GB+ games.
4. Similar to point one again, how do I take a new game around to a friends house without having it back it up?

I'd rather pay a low price for games and play then when ever I want without and hassle or other silly policies dictating otherwise.
Only one account on the PS4 needs to be with PS+ for the rest to play online.
