Yep... a bit, but as long as they make this high quality and they differentiate it enough from the rest of them, I'll get it. They might want to think about taking a break soon though...
If it's a Vita tie in with Black Flag, I'm in! Though I do have to agree that it's starting to get old.
Now give me a price and date so I can preorder as well!!
I didn't even know TLOU had MP.
I'm glad PS3 will be supported through this year to help me wait for next-gen, but once I've shifted over, my interest in PS3 games will have gone downhill. GT6 on PS4 sounds interesting to me, despite the fact that I'm not a huge racing fan. On PS3? I'd skip it for sure. Was also hoping TLG would be PS4 only, but hey, that one I won't ignore... it'll just make it a little bit less exciting.
I think this is a sign that we're approaching the next Xbox's reveal, what do you guys think?!
Maybe some new developer or the Forza Horizon people if they had 2 teams working on games at once... I'm not sure.
I really, really hope so. That was my favorite racing series. Make the Forza Horizon people develop this!
At the end of the day, I just hope we get another great platform to play games on. I'm already sold on PS4 and will be getting one at launch. I'll be pleased if both the PS4 and 720 grab my attention.
If there is a graphical gap, hopefully they'll try to minimize its impact by showing games with great art and design
I'm sure there's going to be a lot of Kinect and multimedia stuff to please investors, but I don't think it'll be quite as casual-oriented as their past few E3 conferences were for the simple reason that early adopters are usually "core" gamers!
It does.
I certainly hope not.
In any case, I can't wait to see his future projects. It would suck if he left Ubi since he's such a pillar of the company... but I'll look forward to his future projects.
It'd be sad if this had an impact on BGE2... I think it will :(
I remember when the 360 was announced and I was kind of overwhelmed with the new social features they were bringing up. I was thinking it was giong to be too complex though I wasn't hating any of them. I just wasn't THAT interested in gamerscore and similar things. I just wanted to play games... now I find these features almost necessary (not gamerscore, but seeing what your friends are playing online, comparing games, etc)... I'm sure it'll be the same with PS4.
Exactly what I was thinking, it'll introduce more people to more advanced games as opposed to phone games. Impressive, movie-like graphics also help, even though we don't usually think of that as mainstream appeal. Who DOESN'T get impressed by amazing visuals?
it doesn't just ask for experience on PS3/360/PC though... it says the person will work on PS3, 360 and PC. I'm sure it's because there's 2 separate teams for each project. In fact, they might be hiring for a current gen port while the FC3 team is working on the next-gen version. Who knows...
We'll see if a PS4 version is announced at a later date, they might be waiting for E3! Or Maybe Ubi is simply hiring for the current gen version while the PS4/720 version is in development elsewhere? They did that with Splinter Cell Double Agent. Next gen was developed at Shanghai while the (much better, imo) current gen version was made in Montreal. I doubt they'll make 2 completely different games this time though. It'll probably be the same with improved graphics on PS4... I...
Yeah definitely, it could be that as well. It might also be worth noting that the previous Vita tie-in kept the "III" on top of having the Liberation subtitle... this doesn't seem to keep the IV. It could really go either way but this may be a sign that it's a short film.
