No matter which "side" you're on, as gamers, you have to give credit where credit is due.

I can feel it now: December Japan release, with demo shortly before and rest-of-the-world release a couple of months later! I want to believe :)

I really don't mind the WW2 "genre", that is unless it is done right. Games such as MOHAA, COD etc were absolutely fantastic and are still fun to this day. People get bored with WW2, but at the same time fighting in the middle east is starting to run it's course as well... We'll see what happens with COD5 ;)

That's what PS3 owners should have gotten instead of that horrific Lost Planet port ;)

To me personally, FFXIII and Versus will MORE than make up for the quantity of JRPG's on the 360.

Very true. UT3 runs great on the PS3. Basically it looks like what Phil was saying in that article was that Sony should have been more "urgent" in it's release of development tools. I think with regards to RPG's, it may be time for Sony to actually start throwing some money around... I'm getting very impatient myself, and at the same time I feel more comfortable playing RPG's on the PS3 than the 360 for some reason ;)

How many of the 360 RPG's have been built using the Unreal engine and tools released by microsoft like a year before the PS3 even came out? This Unreal engine (correct me if I'm wrong) was built around the 360 architecture, meaning it's WAY easier to churn out games in quick fashion, basically without having to worry about anything; and a lot of these just happen to be RPG's. To me it's not about developer "bias", rather the ease in producing and releasing the games, which in turn i...

If you are going to buy an exclusive, then freaking BUY it outright. This "timed" exclusive crap only serves to alienate gamers as a whole, create unneeded backlash and is utterly ridiculous!

This is why many didn't want microsoft in the console industry in the first place.

The dedicated PC GPU will always be the best in terms of raw graphics and power for gaming.

The PS3 is definitely finally coming into it's own, there's no doubt about it. I agree that from now on, mind share and focus will be on the PS3 rather than the 360 like it had been for a couple of years. In fact, you can already see the shift coming into motion. The thing is though, when the PS3 really starts to go nuts, watch microsoft release a new console!

Iga, I'm STILL waiting on a PS3/360 installment! Forget the DS, we NEED something new and fresh (and 2/2.5D) on our big screens! I don't care if it's a remake of the first three in HD! I can only play SOTN so many times in a year :P

Great news! Loved the first one.

I hope it's sells a trillion :P That's how good the game is.

Why submit a "news" post that basically TRIES to downplay the game of the generation? Does this submission have an agenda behind it?

6449d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It won't change a thing.

This site wants to try and curb the never ending fanboy war, yet they allow such trash to be posted? White electronics make me puke btw.

People actually take that blog seriously?

Let's stop worrying about a game that isn't coming out for another year, and enjoy the gaming masterpiece that will release it's juices onto the world on the 'morrow.
