It's very likely that GTA V could top everything, I hope it does.

Skyrim was far more fun to play, with greater variety of things to do & see. TLOU does not have this variety, you're stuck going on the path forced upon you.

I for one hope GTA V is improved drastically in terms of fluid movements. IV ruined the freedom of movement that San Andreas had, the gameplay alone was the biggest failure for IV. I expect better from V, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.
Speaking purely from a control standpoint, GTA definitely does not feel like the same game. IV is radically different from San Andreas, San Andreas feels different from Vice City. I'm not familiar with any other example you have, but I strongly disagree in terms of GTA.

There's a difference between enjoying what a company offers and flat out dick-riding a company. Pretty easy to see where the allegiance lies for said "copypasta" individual.

Don't know, honestly. The gameplay is total shit and is a massive downgrade from previous GTA titles.
Seems like a lot of people only started playing Grand Theft Auto when 4 came out, it's why they don't know any better.

If the control is better in GTA V than it was in GTA IV, then Rockstar has no competition whatsoever. Sleeping Dogs, Watch Dogs, Saints Row, doesn't matter. None of them will touch GTA, period.

Western RPG's, greater variety in majority of the games, albeit not as strong stories. However, they're just far more fun to play in terms of combat and exploration.
