All of those articles you list are from the developer and ONE other website, and a fairly unknown one at that. I hardly consider one website to be a source of hype, maybe you do, but that to me is kind of, well, ignorant. Hyped game my a**. No one hyped this, no one claimed it to be a halo killer (actually halo doesn't even deserve the word "killer" in any sense of the word, instead say cod4 or resistance), flagship title, or any other of that bs sarcastic gamer claims people to have called it.
We all knew it would suck, or at least be nothing special.

Let me give you my review on GTA IV. First of all the graphics totally rock. The gameplay is stellar and I love the detail the developers put into this game. I just can't get enough of this game...blah blah blah~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~

I don't pirate games (mainly becuase I don't want to risk my console and the fact that I would be to lazy to), but that is kind of bs. Oh ya I guess you're right, I didn't really rta, and I didn't know cliffy b's last name, I just always called him "Cliffy B".
What he meant, is that he was not as impressed as everyone else was. He saw nothing groundbreaking or special in that video, that hes been told by tons of people is the best thing they've ever seen.
I kind of agree, it doesn't look like its going to break any barriers in terms of graphics this time around like it did with the first.
