How is he taking a shot at MGS4? He has nothing but praise for this game every time he mentions it. I think you need to read the article again.
The only thing revolutionary about the gameplay, was the stealth mechanic. Out of the first 2, the gameplay did kind of suck. Fixed non-controlable camera angles, horrible FPS view, horrible auto lock on. MGS3 improved on some of those issues with a 3rd person camera angle, which made the game a whole lot easier to play, but FPS view still sucked, since you should be able to move while in FPS view.

I know its for balance, but all I'm saying is they should have another sniper rifle that is much weaker that is semi-automatic, or a sniper thats fully automatic, but is only as strong as the lancer, but with a lot of recoil.

Sniper unchanged? So you're telling me, in this futuristic dystopian society being dominated by high tech aliens and lasers (HoD anyone?) that they are still using bolt action rifles? Ugh.
Yeah, the themes they talk about, mediaval and space themes don't really appeal to me all that much.
Ahh, so thats how games like Halo 3, GTA IV, and MGS4 get perfect 10's. It all makes sense now.

Its not like if this article was approved, the game would be ruined. Grow up people, some of us actually want to see some screenshots of the game.

People, its not that hard to avoid spoilers on n4g. All you have to do is STAY AWAY FROM THE F*CKING COMMENTS. Do you really think that the n4g "approving story" audience will allow spoilers to be front page without warning? No, they won't let that happen. Oh and stay away from the afformentioned names above.
These are better than the U.S. tv ads, and I don't even know what they're saying!

In terms of story: HELL NO!
In terms of Gameplay: maybe.
I actually bought a used copy on amazon for 40 bucks. It was a great deal.
Most overrated movie ever.
