Gamestop actually does have stores in the UK though they are only based in Ireland now they did have a few stores dotted around the country but couldn't compete with game HOWEVER this does not change the fact they can still get access to these numbers. Either way considering it released over here nearly 2 years after the 360 (just over 1 and a half years) its already beating it by over 1 million consoles thats impressive!
Just more proof that the only people that buy into the fact the 360 is the superior console is the north America its the only continent on the planet where 360 is king you get that in the entire WORLD. That says something right there.
It shows that people from the USA believe everything that comes out of MS mouth obviously instead of seeing what the rest of the world can see. I mean if the rest of the world are doing something and your not its obvious your doing it wrong.
Nothing new here MS has been beating ps3 in America for a long time but thats because thats where they spend the biggest chunk of there advertising.

I been starting to wonder this myself I mean is a game REALLY worth £40 these days?? People in the US pay £32 and that's still a little too much for my liking. I get devs claim high costs etc yet they still sell under a million copies and call it a success so why not sell cheaper and sell over 1 million? they would still make the same amount of cash but more people could enjoy there game.
LOL I love how no 360 has next to no AAA exclusive they no longer matter as this is basically what the article is saying. Not that they won't be around just they won't have the pulling power. Amazing really...
I hated the SOCOM 4 beta personally too manic for me and don't like the feel personally. But that's a personal preference more than anything. I am still playing Bad Company 2 and starting to get to grips with Crysis 2.

Most hackers are on the PC no doubt since you can get on official servers with a pirate copy.. You can even get on 360 official servers with pirate version so you can cheat on that version too. Luckily for PS3 the online part is locked out for newer games as you cant connect to PSN if you softmod your console. So if you don't want cheaters for now PS3 is the only place until the find a way of course they will always find glitches..
I agree but at least with sequels you know what your getting with new ips your taking a gamble and that's why I usually avoid them unless I really like the demo.
This list though ain't even announcements they just rehashes on what we know. I don't think we will hear about KZ4 yet. However I reckon Sony might have struck a deal with a dev again for something major...

Only people on earth who think Crysis 2 looks the best game right now are sad 360 fanboys as they finally want to say they got the best looking game on there console and I am sorry but its not happening its nothing compared to Killzone and Uncharted. It's not even 720p on 360 so move along.
Your so sad.. You 360 fanboys are happy to cough up £40 just to play online yet you say paying £40 a year to download £200 of content is a bad deal in any way you can.. If you keep paying you keep playing simple, and with cloud save storage I ain't ever gonna stop.

erm the problem i have with this is there comparing what 2nd weeks sales of homefront to over a months sales of killzone and bulletstorm?? Homefront is still brand new so of course it will sell better pretty much the bigger end of buyers have already bought killzone and bulletstorm. What a stupid article. They get these stats by the address(ya know what MS ban if caught pirating software?) of consoles connected to the internet in the last 6 months or something along those lines. If you never connect your console to the internet they consider it dead. Thats what the stat here is Global ACTIVE devices. Even if it does only include online devices there is probably an even number of offline as online devices out there.
