Oh dear Sonics been doing so bad the best they could come up with was 2 sonics?? I was super excited for Sonic 4 and am not for this. Let sonic be classic sonic is gone the world of gaming has moved on and thats why nobody can enjoy them like in the past. People demand too much from games and Sonic classic gaming cannot give that.

wow kaveti6616 you couldnt come up with more than one major PS3 exclusive in sub HD the one you said is early ps3 and is it even sub HD I don't remember reading that?... it's hard ain't it? Yet with 360 it's easy as pie but thats the power of ps3. However you both went into fanboy mode there and got completely off topic. This is about PS3 sales gaining year after year.
Thing with Sony is it sells more and more each year even 5 years into its life cycle at 5 years PS2 was dying down. The wii is dying down and the 360 is dying down year over year too apart from the months collaborating with major releases such as Kinect and Halo.
PS3 is equal to 360? Why is it when a ps3 game beats a 360 game hands down you fanboys are quick to say its a draw but your the first here to say when its a draw 360 won biased much? Anyways looks great hope we get some more steam features.

Wow comparing gears which is for sale on the console where only shooters sells well to uncharted eh?? Whatever helps you sleep eh? I mean you want proof that non shooters sell better on ps3 looks at gt vs forza they are both as good in there own right (GT a bit better as its newer) yet it blew forzas sales out the water within a few weeks. So quit with the sales talk already we are talking about how great multiplayer will be here and it does look amazing.

Nothing new most if not all AAA exclusives on 360 are sub HD too. The 360 just has a problem handling HD gaming. You remember when MS used to bang on about HD gaming near the launch of 360? Now they never say a word. Though they do a really good job in upscaling and that usually does the job.
I never buy a game based on graphics but I will be buying portal 2 for ps3 purely based on cross platform gaming and a free pc copy.
Means nothing PS3 outclocks 360 yet that manages to keep up with ps3 on a lot of games I doubt you could make Mario and Zelda games look great because of what they are and thats the problem. You seen the real life mario pic? It looks FUGLY.
There pushed at young people I dont think the name matters as its not pushed at adults who buy a game based on a name.
It sounds like they are definitely going towards a new market and unfortunately its not people who bought there console for the first 4-5 years its the old wii owners. Whether it will work only time will tell but this game is definitely is for kids.

they should do some DLC and donate some of the income from it and some copies of the game signed. Oh and include EU :p
That's the main issue with all consoles but its up to the devs to get the most out of it. Look at FFVII nobody ever thought we would get them kind of graphics out of the PS1 then they came out with FFVIII and beat them again.
Honestly even if the title is misleading onto the point of the title. I think PC gaming should finally bow out now anyways. I think times are changing. Theres a reason casual is taking over and games are a lot cheaper. They say its piracy but its due to the dwelling market people won't pay big bucks for games anymore except the hardcore players as most the gamers of old have moved onto consoles purely because they got sick of the constant upgrade costs and its easier to play on a console....
I agree sloppy coding would come of this if it happened and it would lead to a lot of even buggier games. I think the fact devs try to max out a console with bottom end specs and get what they can out of it is massively impressive. If we get silly specs like 8gb then we ain't gonna see devs optimize games. Of course the flip side would be games would come out sooner as optimizing does take a lot more development time but the game comes out better.
For a console I think 2GB should easily be enough the main problem with say PCs and MACs is the fact you got windows or whatever running in the background eating away at RAM. Consoles do not have this problem thus freeing up a ton of ram which is dedicated to the entire game and not pretty bloat-ware. Seriously though they have no need to go above 4gb. No PC really needs above that right now and that's with the bloatware.
Hmm Thats saying XBL is better than PSN which 2-3 years ago I would agree but having both consoles I disagree. Nothing separates the 2 networks now. You can bang on about online chat etc but there console features not live features. Plus I only pay for live as its the only way I get to play my fable 3 in co-op :(
