To the people saying that they don't want Day 1 on the box to these games... Just think that they'll be collectibles down the road because they are day 1 editions.
My launch day games will be
Ryse
Fifa 14
Watch Dogs
Killer Instinct
Forza 5
Dead Rising 3
Not to trash the article but no sources were given... This is basically an article to get traffic on their site IMO.
The NSA could care less about Kinect... They're busy tapping into our cell phones.
It must be connected, but it CAN BE TURNED OFF! Most of their games are controller based with "enhanced" optional gameplay mechanics like voice commands are sometimes movement based. If you don't want it on... simply turn if off!!!
No one seems to understand that Kinect is NOT required for games... It must be connected, but that's more for the voice commands and navigation on the dashboard. For games, a majority of them are all controller based. Games like Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Fifa 14, Forza Motorsport 5 and Crimson Dragon all support Kinect and don't require it.
The only games that NEED Kinect are games like Kinect Sports Rivals and Fantasia: Music Evolved. Plus Kinect CAN BE turned off......
I agree with you. We'll see for sure at E3, but i think a lot of their games will be controller based, but will have the option for Kinect if a player chooses to. If that's the case... I'm okay with it.
I'm a fan of games so I'll be getting both consoles, but this is what I think that Microsoft will be doing with Kinect and their games.
Well Kinect isn't NEEDED for all games. Take Ryse for instance. It was a kinect game on the 360. Kinect ONLY. Now on the Xbox One, it's a controller based game enhanced by Kinect. It doesn't mean you need it... it's just capable of using Kinect.
I clicked thinking that Rockstar said something about the Xbox One... yet it was a clever way for us to click on the article.
Definitely. I've seen this game get hate and while it's not the best game, it's a game worth checking out. I was seriously debating giving it an 8, but it was the gameplay that really held me back from doing so. What I do love are the visuals. They're fantastic! I hope this is a world that can be revisited if it does well enough.
I'll play Call of Duty: Ghosts if there are new gameplay mechanics and also if there are things that WOW me. No offensive to the series. It may be good, but it lost me after Black Ops because it was repetitive. I'm all for IW proving me wrong though!
I must say that I'm slightly disappointed with this announcement. I kept reading articles teasing Game Informer's announcement and I was thinking it would be about a game that we've never heard about. Don't get me wrong, I am REALLY excited for Infamous: Second Son, but I was just hoping that the announcement was for a new game that hadn't been revealed yet.
One benefit i would see with a PS4 version is the fact that I could live-stream the game. My friends and I play a lot of Dark Souls and sometimes we're trying to describe certain areas, but the details are tough. With the PS4, I could livestream with my friends all the locations and situations that we would normally talk about.
Catherine was one of my favorite games of this generation. I rather it be left alone than tainted by a sequel. We don't NEED sequels, but instead, we should get some original games. That's what I loved so much about Catherine. It was a breath of fresh air.
I actually just bought this the other day. It's pretty hard to find apparently according to the Gamestop stores near my house. I'm pre-ordering Last Light even though I haven't started the original just so I can guarantee my copy. If I end up loving 2033, I'll need to play Last Light.
While I'm pretty bad at the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield, with the experience I had with it, I can say that it's one of... if not the most strategic shooter I've ever played. I'll probably suck at Battlefield 4's multiplayer, but I'll try it out anyway.
When my parents got me a PS1 for Christmas one year, this was the first game I got with it... along with Crash Bandicoot 2. I had never played an RPG so I basically grinded to level 16 in the first area thinking that I was far into the game because I was at level 16. Little did I know how an RPG really worked. Eventually I finished the game after a few years with it. I LOVED it with a passion.
The first game was in between 65%-70% for me. While I haven't played the sequel yet, I doubt it's an amazing game. It's a rental for me. Just my opinion.
I actually really like the game. It's not perfect, but its a fun game that gets better later on. I've never played an MMO before Defiance, but a lot of people tell me that with updates, a lot of MMO games get better.
I don't think Trion set out to make a perfect game. They set out to make a fun game and that's exactly what they did. Is it perfect? No. Is it entertaining? Definitely. It's a great experiment for consoles and for TV fans and I think it...
Thanks! It's one of the few worthy DLCs out there and the price is very reasonable for what you're getting!
