I'll be honest, I prefer my Xbox One, but I bought a PS4 specifically for Infamous: Second Son and I haven't regretted that purchase. It's a phenomenal game and I can't wait to see what other exclusives Sony will roll out!
I want both next gen consoles. I bought an Xbox One (and love it) at launch because 1: I played Xbox more last gen, 2: The games at lunch fit my tastes more and 3: Friends and family were getting it.
I planned on getting a PS4 in March for Infamous (That's what got me to buy and start my PS3 collection) but seriously, if PS4 gets Shemmue, this is a serious gamechanger. I remember picking it up randomly at Hollywood video and falling in love with that game.
A Heavenly Sword sequel would be great. I've really been liking what Ninja Theory has been doing lately. A sequel would be tons better because they've grown as a developer.
NBA Street for the win! The game took many hours away from my life.
More like Def Jam Vendetta and Fight for NY and less like Icon. I would fully support a reboot of Def Jam!
Definitely, I'm glad that it doesn't alienate the players who have never read the series. With The Walking Dead, I bought it once all the episodes were released, but I didn't do that with The Wolf Among Us and now it will come back to haunt me. It'll probably be a 2 month wait between episodes.
I played it unsure if I would actually like it because I had heard plenty of negative comments, but once I started playing, I couldn't stop.
Sorry I didn't post about the Vita in the review. I had it on the PS3. I agree though, that is a game that would be amazing to play on the go. The levels are short that it questing while traveling seems like a great idea.
It's not a 2/10 game. It's not an 8/10 game. It's more around 6.5/10. Sure, the camera can get annoying and there are some glitches here and there, but the combat is actually pretty fluid and each turtle plays differently.
Plus, the skill trees add diversity to the game. There's also a classic mode that feels like the arcade games, a challenge mode and a survival mode. I've been a turtle fan since I was a child. While it's not the Turtles game I...
The 360 came out on the 22nd. Not that I believe this rumor, but I think that would be the LATEST date. Also, sites are going crazy saying that it's late November based on info from a Doritos contest. Let Microsoft announce the date. I really think they'll want to launch with Call of Duty since Microsoft seems to have a partnership with that brand. Just my thought.
I don't want to say that this is clickbait, but it is. The site had no sources. This is clearly speculation.
Well if this happened, a majority of people on Xbox Live should be behind bars. I always hear jokes like this... The thing is that we all know that they're jokes. People can't say anything anymore.
Definitely. That's my feeling on this now. I'm actually tempted to just make a new Gamertag just so I can have legit a legit Gamerscore that's not filled with TMNT and Avatar type achievements.
I like challenging achievements, but the only type of achievements I don't like are grinding ones. Killing all the zombies in Dead Rising was a personal annoyance of mine.
What The Last Of Us did so well with the trophies was that they didn't make them pop up progressively for getting to a certain part of the game.
Most of the trophies required multiple playthroughs. It gave the gamer time to just enjoy the amazing story and the game itself.
I used to be like that. Games like Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider and State of Decay still have me going for achievements because of the overall respect and fun I have for those games.
People were telling me that I should go back and complete all the achievements from games that I don't play anymore before switching to the Xbox One. This way, I'll have a true completion list of achievements.
I'm looking forward to the future. I'm not goin...
I like Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, I need Killer Instinct... I'm interesting in Ryse since it's a controller based game now instead of a Kinect only game.
I like Sony and the PS4 will be a great console, but the only game that interests me at launch is Killzone. If Infamous was a day 1 game... I would have bought a PS4 day 1.
Both eventually. Xbox One first because I like the launch lineup more.
This game looks freaking incredible! I'm going to be livestreaming this through Twitch on Xbox One. People will just laugh at me because as much as I love horror... I scare easily. I'll have an interesting livestream!
Either way, this looks like a GREAT return to the survival horror genre!
I always pick these games up... just once the price goes down. I can't justify spending full price on sequels that are basically the same. Fun games though!
I always play the "good side" first because that's a challenge. It's so easy to be bad in games with morality, but being good has its own set of challenges that an be tedious.
