I’m excited as the next person but this game doesn’t have the best graphics currently. TLOU2, RDR2, and Demon souls Remaster have it beat. Look at Aloys hair physics, they’re terrible and animation can use some work. It still looks incredible but it’s not the best.

It’s ridiculous one of the biggest PlayStation games is going to be cross gen in 2022. This could’ve been truly spectacular on PS5 exclusively.
PS4 version is some of the most disappointing gaming news I’ve heard this year. I thought this was gonna be the MUST HAVE PS5 exclusive system seller.
It’s not just about frame rate and resolution! It’s about level design not blocked by geometry, being able to travel quickly though extremely detailed environments, no choke points to slow players down like elevators and opening doors slowly, more open level design, etc etc

I’m saying it’s harder to develop a game for several systems with different hardware than it is for 1 system. It’s also hard to make a super detailed, graphically impressive game that is open world. Linear games have the advantage of being able to zero in on making each set piece look perfect and detailed.Therefore it’s insane they were able to make RDR2 look that good on all of the systems it launched on, and on such a large scale.
I think TLOU2 has it beat by a little. But that’s a linear game and exclusive! It’s insane what rockstar pulled off with an open world multiplat game to be honest.

I was trying to get my $60 worth. I also gave Witcher 3 a good 10 hours and never enjoyed it. I think it’s just extremely rare for me to enjoy open world games. RDR2, BOTW are pretty much the only exceptions. I also mostly enjoyed GOT but near the end was extremely bored.

Every developer knows it would be better for the game and easier to develop for only current gen, but they won’t sacrifice that $$ for it. (Not saying they should) but trying to make their intentions sound Nobel is kinda annoying.

People downvoting are seriously delusional. Horizon forbidden west looks incredible but it really isn’t that close compared to those 3 games. DF still calls tlou2 the most graphically impressive game including next gen games.
