The game didnt look sub-par on consoles. It looked above par compared to other console games.
Don't tell me you're one of those people delusional enough to expect the console and PC versions to be comparable.
So why are 3DS graphics like a Gamecube and not better.
All I know was that was one of the best teaser trailers I've ever seen. I really liked that song too
Xbox has come a looooong way in the games department.
I would love a KOTOR 1 and Halo 2 remake. KOTOR was probably Biowares best game and still the best plot twist IMO.
Wii has many good games, they just look SO jaggy on my Samsung series 6 that I can't look at them. For some reason SD games look so bad on my TV, even my PS2 looked better on my old CRT than it does on my HD.
I can tolerate some jaggies but not that much. Probably wouldn't care if my TV wasn't 46"
Lol at the COD being 60 FPS. On PS3 half the games are 40FPS most the time and fluctuate making the game less smooth than if were at a more stable frame rate.
Even on 360 the games are rarely 60FPS.
I really like FF13 up to the point where the Bosses took 45 min to an hour to beat and if u died u had to start all over again. Bad gameplay design IMO. I liked the game for the story and presentation more than anything after dying a few times I just had no motivation to suffer through boring long boss battles and sold it.
Not buying this one because of that.
Ive never bought a map pack DLC and dont plan to. Maybe if they came with 6-8 new maps for 5-10 bucks I would
This good for 360 only owners, lately most multiplats look better on PS3 so maybe they'll be at parity from now on
I'm a PS360 owner so it doesnt make a difference in the multiplat department. But I'd love for the Halo remake to use it.
First off Bulletstorm was the only game I've played in over 1.5 years that was actually bad. Haven't played The 3DS version of Zelda or Witcher 2 but heresy list.
7)Dead Space 2
6)Portal 2
5)Crysis 2
4) Mortal Kombat
3) LA Noire
2) Killzone 3 (with Move)
1) Infamous 2
Well BFBC2 had ok graphics but the MP was amazing. So BF3 should be even better in all departments making it a 9plus game no matter what you play it on.
People with capable rigs can add some more percentage points to the review but if the game is better than BFBC2, we're all getting a AAA game.
The playstation controller needs to evolve more. The L2 and R2 triggers are lacking and it could use an upgrade in the ergonomics department.
I have 360 and PS3 and generally enjoy my PS3 more but 360 has a much more comfortable pad IMO (except for fighters)
I definitely think MS is too focused on Kinect. The tech isn't there yet, Kinect can't really offer quality gaming experiences, either core or casual, the controls are far too limited and imprecise.
Like always Sega already did it. Anyone remember that cowboy holographic cowboy game in the arcades.
Sega should get an innovation award or something, they did everything years before the current console Kings. They had motion controls, screens in controllers, online play, made polygons games popular, etc.
That makes sense actually. MS has like 25 million very loyal people paying $60 a year for online whereas both Sony and Nintendo don't have all that extra revenue.
In fact, next-gen if Sony and Nintendo introduce manditory subscription based online they could loose customers.
MS is getting billions for what Sony is doing free, im sure Sony wants to change that next gen, it's just too much money to pass up on.
What about a gift for the largest Crysis 2 consumer base, 360 owners. How another a fix for the grain glitch and that speaker busting sound glitch.
I've never hated a game and developer so much after initially really liking them.
Crytek deserves an award for worst customer service and longest time taken to fix serious day one issues. These amateurs probably don't even know how too.
DICE needs to realize that 95% of comments from 95% of people on forums/comment-sections are negative.
The only valid negative comments are ones about bugs/gameplay issues, story, etc. Seeing how the game isn't out yet if I were DICE I'd treat them like IGN and ignore.
DICE should know that these people are not only the small minority of opinions but also potential purchasers as well.
The majority of sales come from people who neve...
R6 Vegas had the best cover system to date. My only regret is that it didn't become standard in most other shooters.
The mix of 1st and 3rd views made it work perfectly and avoided that disorienting first person cover view.
You forgot to mention the horrible huge blocky grain half way through the campaign that makes to game look terrible.
