Price increase won't have any effect on sales at all. All it is is bad PR nothing more. People wanting a PS5 won't suddenly not want one.
Maybe tolerable if you play the game muted so the cringe dialogue doesn't come through.

The type of game to work on is 1 out of 1000+ decisions that get made. Plenty of room for gripes and split ways of thinking.

Also if you look up job postings for Jetpack Interactive they also helped in God of War for PC.
Honestly from the latest State of Play I'd say Bayonetta has competition gameplay wise too.
