12-14hrs for a game thats $100+ after taxes in Canada? Thats... not great.
Just more evidence that it's best to actually pay for games. If you have money invested in the game, you'll stick around for atleast a few hours. No financial investment in games and you may never complete a whole game again let alone get passed the first few levels.
I heard it's supposed to combine "near photo realism" with anime style VFX. Which we seem to be seeing in the art here with the realistic car contrasted with a more drawn looking smoke cloud.
If only you actually had a PS5 to begin with
Highly doubt you had one in the first place. You'd have to be a real extremist to sell your PS5 over nothing.
If a CoD competitor could be made overnight, everyone would be doing it. CoD has 1000s of devs working on it. It would take multiple Sony studios to produce even 1 game. Not only that, CoD sells based on its branding alone, it sure doesn't do anything new in the shooter genre. People buy it purely for being named Call of Duty.
Any Sony rival attempt wouldn't sell with any other name.
Play to Earn games where you buy NFTs.... it's like Sega hates success and hopes to fail.
LMAO what shill take is this? They used the term "Update for Modern Audiences" that means WOKE, which also means automatic failure. Watch Sam Fisher be a disabled, trans, space alien activist.
In Canada it costs higher than normal next gen games at $93.49. Usually all PS5 titles are $89.99.
Mobile dev studios do it all the time, if they get a customer support ticket from a very high paying user, they make sure the problem is corrected very quickly so that the high paying user is pleased and will continue spending money.
Difficult decision? lol Are you sure about that?
Obsession with blood and gore? That's a key selling factor and is very much part of the gameplay. Callisto will score higher than Dead Space, it's doing new things and only improves on everything Dead Space did. In the end Dead Space is still just Dead Space but shinier.
Internal studios as financially secure as Stadias.
@darthv72
I really would not compare the gap of the previous gen. Almost nobody bought the Xbone as it was a catastrophic failure. This gen MS actually has a competitive machine so obviously the gap would be less.
Totally different situations for a new generation.
Holiday belongs to the PS5, XSX just has nothing coming. Ragnarok alone will push systems. I can see after the holidays the gap being closer to 8M.
What do I hope to see? Abby and Lev die in the most brutal horrific way possible.
Anytime the word "modern" is used it's a huge red flag that it'll suck hard.
People still assume this game will ever release officially?? How have they not caught on yet that it's a scam?
Exactly right, Xbox is the one putting up the most barriers of entry. They want games to be accessible but only if it's within the Xbox ecosystem.
The same can literally be said about Nintendo. Why always single Sony out? For clicks?
