My parents their first ever DVD player two years ago for christmas for $40 to hook up to their 20 year old crt television. works really hard to make awesome racing games. This should be kick ass, only i really wish that Atari would make another open-world racer because Test-Drive Unlimited was the game that got me into racing games.

I don't think the NY Times is biased in gaming, it's just that they needed to pick a Game of the Year that all of their readers know. Grand Theft Auto is a house-hold name now. I bet the reason they didn't pick MGS LBP or something else more worthy is because their readers won't know what they are talking about. Anyone who gets their gaming news from a newspaper is an FAS baby.
I would like to see ME2 come out in 09 but I wonder if it will really come to pS3, I mean, I'm sure microsoft and bioware made some deal where the three part story will be exclusive to xbox. But could EA have possibly bought out the contract? And if they did, I'm sure they would have screamed out by now that ME2 is going PS3. Or else, ME2 won't come out this year. PS3 already has enough sweet games anyway, don't need another crap port of a third party title.
