It's sad that young, talented people like game devs only think about money return for their investment of time and effort into learning architectures like Cell. What about satisfaction from improving your skills? What about being glad to overcome difficulties? What about challenges? I know, it's their work. But why are they talking like they were making licence plates? I'll take anything from Naughty Dog and alike rather than products of those simple code monkeys.

Nice article but it assumes there's only one reason. That one given is valid but there are more, like US players preferring their home console, marketing, X360 being cheaper, etc.
That reminds me of Crytek's bragging and what was left of it when they released Crysis 2 for consoles.
I know at least 30 people with PS3 and 4-5 with 360. All those 360 guys either pirate stuff or play offline anyway. I live in EU, not Japan. 360 is not a popular console among adults here.

745 hours (31 days) and I won't stop until BF3. Nothing compares to BF. I got my lvl 50 a year ago in about 300 hours.
