This is more akin to screen augmentation than what the Wii U proposes. Apple has a patent as well though to use the iPad as a controller and supplemental screen while gameplay is on the TV. That one is a little more worrisome.
I hope it is campaign on one disc and multiplayer on the other like Halo ODST. Loved having the ability of letting my roomate play the portion of the game I wasnt playing. Even if it isnt, this will speed up the time I get to let him start disc 1 when I get onto disc 2. Me likey!
