This isn't forced, it isn't even campaign co op. it is additional co op skirmishes a la horde mode in the Mass Effect universe. I find this to be exciting, refreshing and gladly optional.
It's basically Mass Effect Horde mode, there is no versus and yes that is a point 99% of the commenters overlook.
I'm stoked to be able to enjoy the game beyond the standard campaign. It's going to be a content filled last hoorah for Sheppard's story.
of course I read it, how else would I know the guy personally states he can't use his code due to lack of Internet access while voicing this concern through Internet access.
Update your firmware and activate your codes at your local Starbucks, bam. If you don't have Internet than the pros of having it aren't justified by the cons of not having it, activation code dilemma included. It's all choice. Might be more fiscally responsible to buy used if your intention is not to go online.
Of course, I do find it hilarious a guy has a blog on the Internet but cant go on the Internet.
Sounds like you either need to do research on your purchases or get a good printer and print a PDF of the cover art (they aren't hard to find) and slip it into a purchased case. You can get Xbox or ps3 cases pretty cheap. Personally I love steel books. Plus some cover art is masterfully minimalist like splinter cell or ME. Standard retail cases can be so cluttered.
You mean when it's no longer water?
I'm all over this, co-op mass effect is a dream come true. If it is like horde I will be playing this for ages. I think this article artificially dumbs down online content to a single entity, CoD/BF3 style and Gears/Halo horde style and general co op are completely different. I encourage developers to experiment in connecting SP experiences going forward, innovation won't come if they don't.
The logic of this article proves why they make games, and you guys dont. Your image of the future installments is limited by what you have seen, any great developer is unlimited by what we haven't.
Your quote has absolutely no connection, even delusionally implied, to the PS3 version.
Considering I got the platinum for Demon's Souls in 2 regions I'm most excited for Dark Souls.
Console MMO yes. There is a huge void of a great console MMO. There is a market for it.
If you thought that was anything but sarcasm, you are delusional.
And we can't form a class action against it.
4, unless your locking yourself out
Written like a piss poor term paper with unnecessary vocabulary and everything BUT a point or an official opinion. Basically he doesn't like the game because of machismo and the fact that things try to kill you that take more bullets than he wants to fire. Reads like he has a thing against gaming more than this game. /yawn
It's a false sense of entitlement. Fact is gamers are lucky. Is ANYTHNG inflation proof for an entire generation like video games? Wages, expenditures, and overhead all increase but the price of games stay the same, and the price of the consoles go down. If a developer has to put in fluff DLC to remain profitable while making a stellar game so be it.
Doesn't affect gameplay or imbalance anything so who cares? Buy it if it's of value to you, skip it if it is not. Welcome to capitalism.
Yes sir! I live 2 blocks from the Metreon in S F too. I have enough of a backlog not to care about a week (it's not a month). Not to mention I can 3D game at home. It's fun in bursts but the resolution hit is VERY noticeable
Which is 5 new maps to most people...
Assassins Creed: Bloodlines, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resident Evil 5
