I didn't complain about uk being in there, I just said that if an article claims to present the "world's" top selling games then all of the territories should be in there, especially the rest of Europe which sells more 2x-3x more than uk. If they can't track the rest then they shouldn't use the specific title...

Definitely not the "world's" most sold game. There are other countries besides UK, USA and Japan and for instance the rest of Europe sells twice and maybe 3 times as much as UK. So how can this article's title make such a claim?

Dude, timed exclusives IN GENERAL tend to sell significantly less in comparison to simultaneous releases, regardless of console. So for a company to release a timed exclusive game if it's not accompanied by a very large paycheck is always a stupid decision.

so you think releasing for example eternal sonata as a timed exclusive considering a whooping 80K!!! in sales in Japan and awhooping 180K in NA was the right decision for Namco. And Ace Combat 6 with a whooping 100K in Japan and 410K in NA was also the right decision? You also know that when a multiplatform game is a timed exclusive is selling significantly less then if it was released simultaneously?

Dude I don't even know what you're talking about. "Bare more children"?????? I already said that IMHO the lifetime sales for Tales of Vesperia will be aroung 150K. I don't think for a jrpg on PS3 to sell 5 times more that, around 750K that is, the Japanese people would have to "bare more children". This kind of logic is equivalent of a 13-year old.

I wonder how much money MS is throwing to make, as it seems so far, a minimal impact in Japan. This was a pretty stupid decision by Namco as if Tales of Vesperia was released for the PS3 in Japan it would easily sell at least five times as much. Instead they put time, money and a lot of effort to release a jrpg for X360 in Japan with it's ridiculously low install base.
Eternal Sonata sold 80K in Japan, Lost Odyssey sold 100K and it didn't save X360. I don't know what Namco is thinking....
